While my bedroom's 40' flat screen cost less than $300.00 three years ago, and was seldom used, I didn't really want to buy a new one, even if it'd cost less, today. The symptoms pointed to a power supply failure. A short Google led me to TVPARTSGUY, where for less than $40.00 I solved the outage. So now, when we need local weather coverage, I can once again flip that on, rather than find the remote for the livingroom TV to switch input from the downed satellite screen to local weather channels.
